Carbon black is a fine black powder made mostly of pure carbon. It’s produced by partially burning or decomposing hydrocarbons (like oil or natural gas) in a controlled process.

Carbon black consists of tiny carbon particles with a very high surface area and strong pigmentation. It’s one of the most widely used industrial materials.

Tires & rubber products The biggest use. It strengthens rubber and improves durability (that’s why tires are black).

Safety Item
